OmniAvia

For student pilots

Ground school built around the FAA's own Airman Certification Standards — the twelve areas of operation, each broken into what you must know, what can go wrong, and what you must do. The source under each item is always one tap away.

OmniAvia is ground study and reference for iPhone and iPad, with an Apple Watch app. Its lesson packs, from the ACS, FAA handbooks, the AIM and 14 CFR, ship inside the app, with the official source under every item. You log your own study, sim or flight sessions and pre-flight preparation; they stay on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your own iCloud. Where Apple Intelligence is on, Ask answers on the device. It does not fly the aeroplane and it does not sign a logbook.

The line it does not cross

OmniAvia is ground study and reference on this device. It is not flight instruction, not an endorsement, and not a substitute for a certified flight instructor or an examiner, and it never makes a go/no-go, airworthiness or fitness-to-fly decision.
